So the project began on the 2nd of April and even at the end of the first week there was massive progress on the land – here are some photo updates for Battery Towers!

1st July 2011 - Most of the Team at the site.

As you can see just from the top two images the progress from just the first week is incredible – we remember when this place was full of rubbish and trees – there was even a bike and a bath in there!
More updates coming soon on this exciting project.
So here it is, a drawing for the new Cell Pack Solutions premises!
Building is expected to commence within the next few weeks and if all goes to plan we could be in our brand spanking new place as early as July!
This new location will be a massive boost for us here at Cell Pack Solutions, finally moving into larger purpose built , waving farewell to TEDCO and moving our company forward to the next level.
This move will help Cell Pack Solutions, your local North East battery assembly company to continue to grow and take on more staff in the future.
We will keep you updated with building progress as often as we can.
Finally catching up with the week, its been hectic. Went to my first Entrepreneurs’ Forum Meeting, a rather grand affair called the Chairman’s Dinner. It was quite memorable for the fact that the Charirman wasn’t there. However have to say that there were so many self made entrepreneurs and wannabe entrepreneurs, you could almost feel the inspiration being rubbed as you brushed past people. I was on one of the tables furthest away from the front, sitting next to a lovely couple who told me they had just finished the renovations on a property in Belsay, Northumberland, called Shortflatt Tower. Check out their website, the place looks absolutely fantastic. Also met an interesting chap who set up a company that helps companies that run ecommerce websites know what their users do, aptly called WhatUsersDo. Overall a nice night, great food and some great company.
There is a bit of further development on the new property. Our Architect visited the Council Planners and plans seem to be OK. So it is full steam ahead on the official plans this week and a review planned for the end of the month.

Land deal is now done and we begin the process designing and building our new premises in which we can continue to grow our company. Here are the first photographs of the hidden Jungle in Rekendyke. This will help to secure our 20 jobs and with a bit of luck we can double our workforce within a few years.

Thanks to John and Bob, between us we cleared enough of the brambles and undergrowth to hopefully get our dimensions and levels survey done.

It may not look like we did much, but it was backbreaking. I will be posting regular updates to let you know how we are getting on!
