Meet the Team

Eddie:

Hi, my name is Eddie, I set the company in what seems a life time away, back in November 1998. Like many of you out there I wanted to become a master of my own destiny. It was an initial 18 month experiment that seems to have gone on bit longer than I expected. Our company has grown beyond all recognition and we now employ 20 people with plans to grow even further.

Parts of this blog has been written by myself, some are just random thoughts, memories and ramblings. It is quite a therapeutic and is much cheaper than seeing a psychoanalyst. I am a firm believer that you are only going to be around once so you need to make sure that you enjoy your job and if you don’t then you will find life just drags on.

Personally the last 13 years have just been a blur for me. One of my proudest moments was been chosen as one of BT Essence of the Entrepreneur. Our company has won many Awards over the years, all of which I attribute to the joint actions of the team. This particular Award resulted in having this photograph taken by Rankin. He is more famous for creating images of Celebrity Superstars, I had a great laugh having this photograph taken, it was probably the first and last time I had had make up on.

Please feel free to email me, or follow me on Twitter @edczestochowski. I promise to answer all emails. Advice is free after all and you don’t have to take it.

Callum:

Technically the most recent edition to the team (With the exception of Steve of course!), I have been working for Cell Pack Solutions for  over a year now and am thoroughly enjoying it. It wasn’t too long before Eddie asked me if I wanted to start working on some blogs in my own time so naturally I seized this opportunity.

I now have administrative rights on the blog (I’ve worked my way up!), but I’m not one of those administrators who predominantly looks over things, I’m keen to get involved and enjoy posting to keep you readers up to date and informed with the latest selection of products and offers from our site.

Aside from work I am a full time Student (Oh the debt!). I’ve been working hard on a National Diploma for the last two years at South Tyneside College which I can proudly say I achieved DDD on, the max mark!

From here I’m going to Sunderland University in September to study a Degree in Forensic Computing which lasts four years (It’s a sandwich degree) and I couldn’t be more keen to start. I know I’m going to be with some great friends, which I guess gets rid of most of the nerves, but generally I’m excited for what the future holds, should be a blast!

Steve Winder

Steve:

Hello, I am Steve, I joined Cell Pack back in May 2011 after a relatively long career in research and marketing consultancy with a local enterprise agency. I decided it was time to use all the knowledge I had gained and apply that to aiding the continued growth of Cell Pack Solutions, thankfully Eddie and his team of excellent people here agreed to let me!

My idea is to become a guest blogger, not wanting to stand on the toes of blog masters Eddie and Callum. My posts will usually cover our trips to exhibitions promoting the company, any new customers and supplier issues that may interest our readers and possibly even the odd thought or rambling from myself.

Outside of work I am a keen golfer, having represented my university and local club in team competitions. The world of work makes it difficult to practice these days so my handicap is generally around a questionable  9 or 10. I enjoy watching and taking part in most sports and do attempt to visit the gym now and again.

I have a Business and Marketing Degree and CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, however learning about our products and services in the world of batteries has been a totally different challenge, but one that I continue to look forward to.

Steve Cooper:

Hi, I’m another Steve (to be known on this blog as Steve Cooper); I was previously employed by Eddie back in 2005 after graduating from Newcastle University. I worked at Cell Pack Solutions for around 2 years following a successful 8 week placement as part of the STEP placement scheme in the summer of 2004. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cell Pack before embarking on a sort of delayed 2 year gap year to work as a Water sports Instructor in Greece and Turkey for 2 summer seasons and Antigua for 2 winter seasons.

I’ve stayed in contact with Eddie and always kept an eye on how Cell Pack has been progressing, so I was delighted when I was asked to help out by doing some work on the blog. My work at Cell Pack was predominantly on the Technical side of things and the work I will be doing on the blog will reflect this by developing detailed product pages, providing technical information and discussion.

Following a not so typical route from graduating, I am currently living in the New Forest in Hampshire, about to embark on my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at Southampton University with the hope of qualifying as a maths teacher in June 2012. I have no definite plans where I will finally settle down but hopefully teaching will provide a wide range of options and I am looking forward to the challenges which lay ahead.

Jonathan:

Jonathan does not post on the Blog per se however he does do a lot of work “behind the scenes”, so we thought we would dedicate this section to him as he still hasn’t bothered to write something himself!

More information on this would-be anonymous IT Techie as it becomes available!
